Red, White & Blue Picks for Kids

It’s almost 4th of July and I’ve rounded up my favorite red, white and blue picks for kids! That includes these adorable outfits from Bella Bliss in the pictures above.

When we took these pictures down by our lake, it reminded me how important it is to set aside time to just let kids muck about outside. Although at that exact moment I didn’t let the girls do a full blown muck-about (because I was paying my photographer), I often just let them have free time at home and at the playground without any screens. Sometimes they whine and complain for the first five minutes, but when I hold my ground and let them figure it out on their own, they always end up using their imagination to dream up something fun. I definitely encourage you to take some time during the week of the 4th and let your kids just mess up the house a little, build a pillow fort, get dirty outside or run around without their shoes on.
