If you’ve ever stayed at a Four Seasons resort, you’ll understand when I say that every stay is unique. Every stay is magical. The Four Seasons in Orlando happens to be extra magical. It’s infused with that special Disney magic. This magic comes from being next to the parks. This gorgeous property spans 26 acres. It includes a lagoon style water area that Ariel would love. There is a teen hideout with Foosball, pool tables, and video games. Enjoy tennis and pickleball courts, a Michelin starred restaurant, and a full service spa. It also features the most fabulous children’s boutique that only a fairy Godmother would dream up! We are Orlando residents. We are lucky enough to stay at the Four Seasons Orlando annually. We visit our favorite parks and have a mini staycation at the most magical place on Earth. Now, I am sharing my top 5 insider’s must-dos for your stay here!
1. Finish the Explorer’s Activity Guide Scavenger Hunt
When you check in to the Four Seasons Orlando, there’s a special check-in area for children. Yes, that’s correct. At this station, they can ask for the new Explorer’s Activity Guide. It is part activity book, which we take to dinner to keep the girls entertained. It is also part scavenger hunt. Each page has a clue that leads you to an area of the pool where you collect a stamp. Collect all the stamps and bring the book back to the front desk. They’ll give you tokens for a sweet treat at Lickety Split! My girls loved running around the pool. They enjoyed figuring out the clues and getting their stamps. And what kid doesn’t love an ice cream reward?

2. Unwind in the Spa Solarium or Steam Room after Indulging in their Signature Healing Honey Treatment
Ah, the Four Seasons Spa. Really, that should be all I need to write. This spa has a solarium with a unique experiential shower that I’ve never seen anywhere else. I tried this out on the rainstorm setting and it was crazy! I prefer chilling in the steam room, or should I say sweating. I usually like to do this pre-treatment and make sure I’m really hydrating post-treatment. Here’s the explanation of the Healing Honey Treatment from the Spa website:
Using warmed honey and rose oil for massage allows therapists to perform full body myofascial massage, which is detoxifying, relaxing and uniquely tactile. A warmed beeswax and propolis thermal pack is placed carefully on the body. It imparts many of the same properties as honey. It also serves as a powerful immune booster. The 80-minute treatment includes the added benefit of head-to-toe exfoliation with purifying Himalayan salt.
Pure bliss. If you like hot stone massages, or warm treatments, then this is a unique treatment that you’ll love.

3. Enjoy a Kids-Free Afternoon at the Oasis Pool
Speaking of resets, take the kids for some fun at the complimentary Kids for Four Seasons. Carve out time for yourself at the adults-only Oasis pool. Grab a glass of champagne and enjoy the most beautiful views of the lake from the infinity pool. The Kids for All Seasons club is complimentary. The clubhouse offers many fun activities for kids of all ages. The staff is always well experienced and kind. My girls love going for an afternoon or a morning session and have even asked to go back.

4. Wait out the Rain at the Hideout
If you get hit with the usual late afternoon Florida thunderstorms, take refuge at The Hideout. It offers tons of free video games, foosball, and a pool table. The kids can have some indoor fun and wait out the rain. It’s located in the pool area near the splash pad. My girls love the massive Pac-Man video game console. They also enjoy the life size iPad style touch screen game screens. These screens have games like Fruit Ninja. The Hideout also always has a kid-friendly movie playing on a big screen TV. They have a pool table and a foosball table. They also have extra video games consoles like Nintendo Switch and Xbox for older kids.

5. In-Room Celebrations Create Magic
If you really want to surprise the little ones, work with the retail team to set up an in-room celebration. They’ll feel so special. Honestly, it makes the whole trip even more magical. For this trip we had two in-room celebrations! Our first night, I was surprised with a bottle of celebratory champagne. There was also chocolate lava cake dessert. They even gave me chocolate covered strawberries for my birthday. It was the best ending to a very busy day walking around Epcot. We put on our robes and indulged. On the third and final night, the girls discovered a special princess tent in the room. We found it when we got home! It even included a journal and pen. There was a pillowcase with a coloring picture and markers. A tiara and princess wand added to the excitement. They were beyond thrilled and wanted to sleep in there! There are lots of different experiences you can curate with the team.

These are just a few of the amazing things the Four Seasons Orlando has to offer. There are staples like the lazy river, water slides, and Capa fireworks. I explain more about why I always try to stay at Four Season resorts. This is discussed wherever I travel in this blog post about last year’s stay. Hint: their service is like none I’ve experienced anywhere else.
