Setting a Festive 4th of July Table
Classic Americana. Working with red, white and blue means any table you set will pop with contrast and color. I chose this simple striped linen tablecloth from Nautica as a starting point. I got this one at Homegoods, but here’s a very similar style from Macy’s on sale.
I used my blue fringed placemats from Mark & Graham in combination with my favorite melamine bamboo appetizer plates. I incorporated a slight nautical theme for this table. I used my blue shell motif napkins from Mark & Graham. For a pop of red, I used my VIETRI Aladdin red silverware. Finally, for the table setting I used my navy lattice wrapped water glasses.
For table decoration, I kept it simple. I used my VIETRI Hibiscus bud vases and Mark & Graham scalloped medium vase. They showcased blue hydrangeas, red peonies, and white roses. All the flowers were from Trader Joe’s. I also included some accent decorations I found at Homegoods. Finally, the beautiful wicker hurricane pillar candle holders are from Mark & Graham.
Spruce up these Simple Starters for the 4th

For a simple trick, add blueberries and raspberries to champagne. You can also add them to a champagne cocktail. This will make it 4th of July festive. Then, I got this delicious chicken dip recipe from Hungry Happenings. I used her super easy trick of dying crumbled Ritz crackers red and blue. Then I sprinkled them over a star cookie cutter on the top of the finished dip.

My formal silver champagne flutes and seashell cocktail napkins are both from Mark & Graham. My silver tray is an antique find. My buoy chip and dip platter is also from my favorite, Mark & Graham.
This fun and easy 4th of July setup can be easily duplicated. Especially for a holiday that’s usually spent around the pool and outside watching fireworks, simpler is better. And a fun nautical theme is perfect for 4th of July at the lake or beach!
